Welcome to Pili Lani (Close to Heaven) Portuguese Water Dogs. Our main desire is to breed the most structurally sound, healthy and happy Portuguese Water dogs possible. Our foundation bitch Keilani is a wonderful example of the lively and loyal dog, with incredible movement that we want to reproduce. Our goal is to keep the standard of the Portuguese Water dogs high and most excellent, to not allow our dogs to be bred without becoming AKC Champions or to become a "Designer Breed".
We welcome your interest in this fascinating breed of dog.
They are not for everyone, they need a lot of quality exercise. This is a crucial part of their happiness, they love to work and they rarely tire of helping. They are loyal and just want to please.
